Yannick affectionately refers to his wife as “management’ - a necessary skill for the busy full-time banker. Outside of work Phillippa can be found cooking, ideally for a crowd, gardening and reading – most probably about gardening or cooking.
Yannick is renowned as The French Potter and is currently working on the amphorae pot project for Domaine Rewa. When not working in his studio he’ll have his hands in the dirt around the vineyard and wider property.
Pete knows that exceptional wines only come from exceptional fruit, so his symbiotic relationship with Kim is imperative. Making wine for Domaine Rewa since 2011, his knowledge of the vineyard extends back to when it was first planted in 1999. This in-depth understanding, along with his ability to fine-tune, evolve and elevate each wine is what makes Domaine Rewa wines remarkable.
Toiling away in the vineyard as if it was his own for many years, Kim likes to refers to the vines as his friends. The exceptional quality of Domaine Rewa’s grapes are the result of this man-of-the-mountains’ hard work and meticulous attention to detail on the organic property.
The Domaine Rewa lynchpin. Laa can turn her hand to anything from Kim’s friends (the vines), to energetic boys, cooking, gardening, housekeeping, waxing bottles … all with an effervescent and contagious smile.
Helen came into our life more recently to help with the maintaining the garden and increasingly extensive plantings around the property. It soon became clear she too can turn her hand to seemingly anything, Every Lady 2.
Philippa didn’t believe it was possible to love a dog until Napolean arrived on the scene in 2019. The Romagnolo Lagotto is perfectly suited to truffle hunting, so there are plans afoot for him to realise his calling.
Philippa and Yannick’s twin boys Augustin and Mortimer love grapes and spreading compost. They seem to love the land, but would rather be on the water fishing.
